A chaotic week
This post will summarize the days between January 25-31.
Jan 25 - Woke up at 12:00 and started studying at 13:30. According to the new adjusted study plan, I need to finish a philosophy of science book in four days which meant I need to read 37.5 pages each day. Between 13:30-16:~~ I did four pomodoros. During these four pomodoros, I read 23 pages. At 18:40 I started studying again after one and a half pomodoros I have reached the target and stopped studying. Which meant another day without achieving the four hours study-day. Yet I was happy as I reached the reading target. At night I skimmed the biology textbook for my course for tomorrow.
Jan 26 - This day wasn't a study day. Woke up at 05:30 and started working immediately. Between 05:30 and 08:10 I both prepared the course and play CIV. And then continue playing CIV a little bit. Between 08:45-09:20, I read another philosopher related to the book I was reading yesterday. At 10:30 I got sleepy and slept until 12:00. I did a "free study" session between 14:00-14:30 according to my notes of the day. I don't remember what does "free study" means. At 17:00 there was an online seminar by a very distinguished professor of philosophy science. Unfortunately, she read from the text in front of her so I could bear it much and left the meeting. Between 20:00-21:00, I taught the biology course. At 22:00 I did a one-hour reading session of the book I had scheduled to read tomorrow.
Jan 27 - woke up at 06:00 and started studying at 06:30 did two pomodoros and finished the book very early in the plan. I didn't read the whole book but read enough of it to understand it is not going to serve my purposes. Go to bed again at 08:30 and woke up again at 12:00. I haven't been doing walks for some time so I tried to go out of the house and walk a little bit between 14:00-14:30. I couldn't walk for more than half an hour, walking on the snow while the cold weather fogging the glasses because of the face mask. But this half an hour was tiresome enough that I feel like I need to sleep to get rest. I slept between 16:00-18:00 hours. This sleeping was the last note I took this day. This day might have been a good day because I finished reading the book very early than the deadline. But because the book wasn't useful rest of the plan become obsolete. I didn't know what to do next, following days everything got worse.
Jan 28 - Woke up at 9 o'clock. Started studying around half-past ten did a pomodoro. There is a lot of resistance against studying, I was trying to stick with the rest of the plan although yesterday showed that my plan may not be viable. At half-past eleven I started playing CIV and declared this day will be regeneration day. I hoped that I can find a solution and save the plan and complete the proposal on deadline. But it didn't work.
Jan 29-30 - I was with A. We talked about what to do next and I couldn't make myself start studying again. The whole weekend passed unproductive, I did nothing. On Sunday I thought I at least wrote this post and started writing it but couldn't even finish it.
Jan 31 - I was back home. I tried to finish this blog post but couldn't. There are a lot of house chores to do, I did them. And three different quests visit the house which is a nice diversion.
I finished the post at last on Feb 1. I am hoping to do more work today so I didn't add this day to this post. I might have found a solution for saving the plan. I will write about it in the next post I hope I will succeed.
